In a tragic escalation of violence, a rocket fired from Yemen struck Tel Aviv overnight, leaving 16 people injured by shattered glass. The attack comes in the wake of Israeli airstrikes on Yemen's Houthi rebel-held areas, which have been launching missiles in solidarity with Palestinians. The Houthi rebels claimed responsibility for the attack, stating they aimed a hypersonic ballistic missile at a military target.

Meanwhile, in Gaza, mourners held funerals for 19 people, including 12 children, killed in Israeli strikes.
