Canada Faces Pressure to Provide Safe Haven for America's Trans Community Following Trump's Gender Order

In the wake of President Donald Trump's recent executive order, which mandates the recognition of only two sexes—male and female—there is growing pressure on the Canadian government to offer refuge to America's transgender community. The order, signed on Trump's first day back in office, has sparked widespread concern and backlash, particularly among LGBTQ+ advocates. Rocket from Yemen Strikes Tel Aviv, Injuring 16; Palestinians Mourn Dozen Children in Gaza

In a tragic escalation of violence, a rocket fired from Yemen struck Tel Aviv overnight, leaving 16 people injured by shattered glass. The attack comes in the wake of Israeli airstrikes on Yemen's Houthi rebel-held areas, which have been launching missiles in solidarity with Palestinians. The Houthi rebels claimed responsibility for the attack, stating they aimed a hypersonic ballistic missile at a military target.

Meanwhile, in Gaza, mourners held funerals for 19 people, including 12 children, killed in Israeli strikes. The strikes hit residential areas, causing significant civilian casualties and drawing international criticism. The ongoing conflict has resulted in unprecedented levels of civilian casualties, with more than 45,200 people killed and over 107,500 wounded in Gaza since October 2023.

The situation remains tense, with both sides continuing to exchange fire, further escalating the conflict and undermining efforts for a peaceful resolution.
