Meanwhile the U.S. booze ban is now in force, fixed mortgage rates keep climbing, the economy stalled in July and Ontario's minimum wage rises tomorrow. Here's what matters for your wallet. 1 Banks are closed today, so don't leave payments to the last minute Today is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. It's a federal statutory holiday, which means bank branches, Canada Post, the CRA and Service Canada are closed. It is not a statutory holiday in Ontario, so schools, TTC and GO Transit run as usual, most stores are open and LCBOs open at noon. The TSX is scheduled to trade, but trade settlement is paused for the day, so trades made today settle later than usual. If you are serious about turning your ideas into realities then you must stop wasting time on people and activities that distract you from pursuing your goals. Yes, if you can imagine it you can do it, but you still need to manage your time wisely.

TAURUS (April 21 - May 21):

You are more sensitive than most people realize and yesterday’s eclipse is likely to have left you feeling a bit fragile. Give yourself time to rest today and then make the most of the weekend, by which time you should be back to your best.

GEMINI (May 22 - June 21):

Because you get bored easily you find it hard to focus on one thing at a time, and that’s okay, but if you chase after too many goals it is inevitable that your efforts will fall short of the mark. Limit yourself to just two objectives today.
