Tragedy in Gaza: Israeli Tank Shelling Kills 51 Civilians Awaiting Aid

At least 51 Palestinians lost their lives in Khan Younis, Gaza, after Israeli tank shelling struck crowds waiting for humanitarian aid. The attack, which also left over 200 wounded, occurred as desperate civilians gathered along a main road in hopes of receiving food and supplies.

Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli tanks fired multiple shells into the crowd, causing mass casualties. Medical facilities in the area, including Nasser Hospital, were overwhelmed, with staff forced to treat patients on the ground due to a lack of space.

This incident is part of a series of deadly attacks near aid distribution sites in Gaza, where civilians have been repeatedly targeted while seeking essential supplies. The Israeli military has yet to comment on the latest strike, but previous incidents have drawn international condemnation and calls for accountability.

The ongoing conflict, which escalated in October 2023, has resulted in tens of thousands of Palestinian deaths and widespread displacement. Humanitarian organizations continue to warn of a worsening crisis, as food shortages and violence make survival increasingly difficult for Gaza’s population.
