Piña Coladas Recipe

Here’s the Piña Coladas recipe a creamy, tropical delight that’s perfect for summer sipping.

Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • 6 oz (¾ cup) Coco Lopez® Cream of Coconut (not to be confused with unsweetened coconut cream)
  • 2 oz (¼ cup) full-fat unsweetened coconut milk or heavy cream
  • 6 oz (¾ cup) white rum
  • Juice of 1 lime (about 2 tablespoons)
  • Optional garnish: Pineapple slices and/or maraschino cherries

Instructions

  1. Blend: Add pineapple chunks, ice, cream of coconut, coconut milk (or heavy cream), rum, and lime juice to a blender.
  2. Process: Blend on high speed until smooth and frosty. A high-powered blender works best.
  3. Serve: Pour into glasses and garnish with pineapple slices and cherries if desired.
  4. Enjoy immediately for the best texture and flavor.

Notes

  • Coco Lopez® Cream of Coconut is the gold standard for piña coladas. It’s sweet, thick, and found in most supermarkets near cocktail mixers or Latin/Caribbean products.
  • For a virgin version, simply omit the rum.
