Diplomatic Tensions Rise as Canada Condemns IDF Actions in West Bank

Prime Minister Mark Carney has strongly condemned the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) for firing shots near a diplomatic delegation that included Canadian representatives in the West Bank. Calling the incident "totally unacceptable," Carney emphasized Canada's expectation of a full investigation into the matter.

The federal government confirmed that four members of a Canadian delegation were present during the incident in the city of Jenin. Two of them were Canadian officials, while the other two were local staff.
