Netanyahu Recalls Gaza Delegation Amid Stalled Ceasefire Talks

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered the recall of most of the Israeli delegation engaged in ceasefire negotiations in Doha, Qatar. The decision comes as talks with Hamas have failed to yield significant progress.

While the primary delegation is returning to Israel, a smaller working team will remain in Doha to continue indirect negotiations with Hamas. The discussions have centered around a potential ceasefire and the release of hostages, but key differences between the parties have prevented an agreement.

Netanyahu’s move signals growing frustration with the stalled negotiations. Reports indicate that Israel has been negotiating based on the "Witkoff outline," which proposes the release of hostages in exchange for a temporary ceasefire. Hamas, however, has been pushing for stronger guarantees regarding a complete end to the war.

The recall of the delegation raises questions about the future of the ceasefire talks and whether a breakthrough can still be achieved. As tensions persist, the international community continues to monitor the situation closely.
