Nova Scotia Police Confirm Missing Children Were Seen in Public Before Disappearance


In a recent development, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) have confirmed that two missing children from Nova Scotia, Lilly Sullivan, 6, and her brother Jack Sullivan, 4, were seen in public with family members the day before they vanished. The siblings were reported missing on May 2, prompting an extensive search effort in the Lansdowne Station area.

Authorities have gathered hours of video footage from the surrounding areas and are now requesting additional dashcam or surveillance footage from Gairloch Road between April 28 and May 2. Despite receiving over 355 tips and conducting more than 50 formal interviews, police have yet to determine the circumstances of the children's disappearance.

The search, which initially covered 5.5 square kilometers of dense woodland, involved helicopters, drones, tracking dogs, and numerous volunteers. While the search was scaled back on May 7, investigators remain committed to uncovering what happened to Lilly and Jack.

Police urge anyone with relevant footage or information to come forward as they continue their investigation.
