The disappearance of six-year-old Lily Sullivan and her four-year-old brother Jack has gripped the rural community of Lansdowne Station, Nova Scotia. The siblings were last seen on the morning of May 2, 2025, near their home, and despite an extensive search effort, they remain missing.


 The Timeline of Events

  • May 2, 2025 – Lily and Jack were reported missing around 10 a.m. Their mother, Malehya Brooks-Murray, and stepfather, Daniel Martell, believe the children slipped out through a sliding back door while they were tending to their baby.
  • May 3, 2025 – Authorities launched a massive search operation, deploying helicopters, drones, and ground search teams to comb the surrounding wooded areas.
  • May 5, 2025 – The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) stated there was no evidence of abduction, suggesting the children may have wandered off.
  • May 7, 2025– The search expanded, with volunteers and emergency personnel tirelessly scouring the dense forest. The children's stepfather called for authorities to monitor provincial borders and airports in case of foul play.
  • May 8, 2025  – RCMP announced they were scaling back the search, citing a "very low" chance of finding the children alive. Despite this, investigators vowed to continue their efforts.
