That would follow a much stronger May, when the economy added 88,000 jobs and the unemployment rate actually fell by 0.3 percentage points. Deadly Russian Airstrike Devastates Kyiv, Killing Four

In a harrowing overnight assault, Russian forces launched a barrage of missiles and drones on Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv, killing at least four people and injuring 20 others. The attack, which sent powerful explosions reverberating across the city, followed a warning from Russian President Vladimir Putin that Moscow would retaliate after Ukrainian drones destroyed several Russian strategic bombers.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed the casualties, stating that 16 of the injured were hospitalized. The city’s metro system suffered disruptions after a Russian strike damaged train tracks between stations, further complicating rescue efforts.
