Trump Weighs U.S. Response to Iran Amid Rising Tensions

President Donald Trump remains undecided on whether the United States will launch a military strike against Iran, as tensions between Tehran and Washington continue to escalate. Speaking to reporters, Trump stated that he prefers to make decisions "one second before they’re due," emphasizing the fluid nature of war.

The president is set to meet with his national security team in the White House Situation Room to discuss potential responses to Iran’s nuclear enrichment program and its recent clashes with Israel. While Trump has not ruled out military action, he has also left the door open for diplomatic engagement, suggesting that a meeting between U.S. and Iranian officials in Washington could still take place.

Iran has disputed Trump’s claim that it sought a meeting on nuclear talks, while the UN’s atomic watchdog has reported difficulties in verifying the location of Iran’s near-bomb-grade uranium. Meanwhile, Trump has encouraged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to continue his offensive operations but has not committed U.S. forces to direct involvement.

With the situation evolving rapidly, the world watches closely as the U.S. weighs its next move in the Middle East.
