CRA Tax Adjustment Delays Now Stretch Up to 47 Weeks — Here's How to Avoid Getting Stuck

July 12, 2026   If you've ever filed a request to correct or update your tax return and then waited... and waited... you're not imagining it. Escalation in Gaza: Intensified Strikes Amid Renewed Ceasefire Efforts

Israeli forces have intensified their bombardment of eastern Gaza City, demolishing homes in neighbourhoods such as Zeitoun, Shejaia, and Tuffah, killing at least 11 people overnight. Local health officials report that ambulance crews have been unable to reach some trapped residents due to continuous shelling.

The escalation comes as Egypt hosts a Hamas delegation led by chief negotiator Khalil Al-Hayya, who has signalled the group’s readiness to resume ceasefire talks. Mediators are seeking both a temporary truce and discussions toward a broader agreement to end the nearly two-year conflict.

The humanitarian situation in Gaza continues to deteriorate, with the health ministry reporting four additional deaths from starvation and malnutrition in the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 239 since the war began. Israel disputes these figures, while pressing ahead with plans to retake Gaza City — a move officials say could be weeks away.

The latest developments underscore the widening gap between military operations on the ground and diplomatic efforts abroad, as civilians bear the brunt of the ongoing violence.
