Nigel Farage, leader of the right‑wing Reform UK party, has described the arrival of illegal migrants on small boats as an “invasion” and a direct threat to Britain’s national security. Speaking during a policy address in Oxfordshire, Farage warned that public frustration over the issue was reaching a “genuine threat to public order”.

He outlined his party’s “Operation Restoring Justice” plan, which includes detaining all small‑boat arrivals, deporting them to their countries of origin or to third nations such as Rwanda and Albania, and withdrawing the UK from the European Convention on Human Rights. Farage argued that without decisive action, public trust in government would continue to erode.

The remarks come as Reform UK enjoys a rise in opinion polls, despite holding only a handful of seats in Parliament. Immigration and border control remain central flashpoints in British politics, with Farage’s comments drawing both strong support and sharp criticism from across the political spectrum.
