Investors are reacting to escalating conflict in the Middle East, which is raising fears of disrupted energy supplies and renewed inflation pressures.  Market Overview Dow Jones futures fell roughly 0.8% , extending a multi‑day downturn. S&P 500 and Nasdaq futures each slipped about 0.6% , paring earlier, deeper losses.  The declines reflect mounting investor anxiety as geopolitical risks overshadow recent economic data. Minneapolis Church Massacre: Shooter’s Disturbing Obsession with Killing Children Revealed

Two children were killed in the attack at the Minneapolis church.

Authorities in Minneapolis have disclosed chilling details about the gunman who opened fire at Annunciation Catholic School during a back-to-school Mass, killing two children and injuring more than a dozen others.

Police identified the attacker as 23-year-old Robin Westman, a former student of the school, who fired 116 rifle rounds through the church’s stained-glass windows while children aged 6 to 15 sat in the pews. Officials say Westman harbored a “deranged fascination” with mass killings, idolizing some of the most notorious school shooters in history.

Acting U.S. Attorney Joe Thompson revealed that writings and videos left behind expressed hatred toward “almost every group imaginable,” with one fixation standing out — the desire to kill children. The FBI has classified the attack as an act of domestic terrorism motivated by a hate-filled ideology.

The victims, 8-year-old Fletcher Merkel and 10-year-old Harper Moyski, were remembered by their families as joyful, loving children whose lives were cut tragically short. Fifteen other children and three elderly parishioners were injured, with one child remaining in critical condition.

Police believe the church’s practice of locking its doors once Mass began likely prevented even greater loss of life. Westman died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound at the scene.

Community members have since gathered for vigils, calling for both healing and urgent action to address gun violence.
