What's Actually Happening When you need to change something on a tax return you've already filed — say you forgot a slip, need to update a deduction, or want to claim a credit you missed — you submit what's called a T1 adjustment request. Syria on the Brink: Clashes Erupt as Interim Government Fails to Quell Unrest

 

 Syria is once again gripped by violence as fresh clashes erupted overnight in two volatile regions, threatening a fragile ceasefire and exposing the interim government's inability to maintain control.

In the southern province of Sweida, Druze militias clashed with government forces following a breakdown in ceasefire agreements. At least two people were killed and nine wounded in fighting near the strategic Tal al-Hadeed heights. The region has been plagued by sectarian tensions, with Druze factions retaliating against Bedouin communities backed by the government, displacing thousands.

Meanwhile, in northern Aleppo, Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) exchanged fire with government-affiliated fighters. The SDF claimed it was responding to shelling by “undisciplined factions,” while the government accused the SDF of launching rockets “irresponsibly” near Manbij.

The violence comes amid growing skepticism toward interim President Ahmad al-Sharaa, who rose to power after ousting Bashar al-Assad in December. His Islamist-leaning administration has struggled to gain trust among Syria’s diverse ethnic and religious groups.

Humanitarian conditions in Sweida remain dire, with limited aid reaching the city and residents demanding full access to relief convoys. The escalating conflict threatens to unravel recent efforts to reintegrate northeastern Syria and stabilize the country.
