What's Actually Happening When you need to change something on a tax return you've already filed — say you forgot a slip, need to update a deduction, or want to claim a credit you missed — you submit what's called a T1 adjustment request. The CRA sorts these into two speeds: Routine requests (filed online through your CRA My Account or certified tax software) have a service standard of just 2 weeks . Nestlé Ousts CEO Laurent Freixe Amid Leadership Crisis Over Undisclosed Relationship

 

Nestlé has dismissed CEO Laurent Freixe after just one year in the role, following an internal investigation into an undisclosed romantic relationship with a direct subordinate — a breach of the company’s code of business conduct. The move marks the Swiss food giant’s second CEO departure in a year, deepening its leadership instability.

Freixe, a nearly 40-year Nestlé veteran, initially denied the relationship when concerns were raised through the company’s internal reporting channel, but a subsequent probe — overseen by Chairman Paul Bulcke and independent counsel — confirmed the violation. He will receive no exit package.
