HBO Max’s The Pitt pulled off a dramatic upset, winning Best Drama Series over frontrunner Severance, with Noah Wyle also taking home Best Actor in a Drama and Katherine LaNasa earning Best Supporting Actress.

Meanwhile, Apple TV+’s The Studio, created by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, made Emmy history by becoming the most-awarded comedy in a single season, racking up 13 wins including Best Comedy Series.
