CRA Tax Adjustment Delays Now Stretch Up to 47 Weeks — Here's How to Avoid Getting Stuck

What's Actually Happening When you need to change something on a tax return you've already filed — say you forgot a slip, need to update a deduction, or want to claim a credit you missed — you submit what's called a T1 adjustment request. UN Chief Demands Immediate Release of Detained Staff in Yemen

United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres has strongly condemned the recent detention of at least 11 UN personnel by Houthi authorities in Yemen. The arrests occurred during coordinated raids on UN offices, including the World Food Programme, UNICEF, and the World Health Organization, in the capital Sanaa and the port city of Hodeidah.

In a statement, Guterres denounced the arbitrary nature of the detentions and the forced entry into UN premises, calling the actions a violation of international norms. He demanded the “immediate and unconditional release” of all detained staff, including those held since 2021 and 2023, as well as NGO workers and civil society members who have been similarly targeted.

The total number of UN personnel currently detained in northern Yemen has risen to 34, according to UN Special Envoy Hans Grundberg. The detentions come amid heightened tensions following Israeli airstrikes that killed several Houthi leaders, including their prime minister, earlier in the week.

Guterres emphasized that UN staff must never be targeted while carrying out humanitarian work, and warned that such actions severely hinder efforts to deliver aid and promote peace in Yemen.
