Life may be a serious business but there will always be reasons to smile and your main aim this year must be to focus on what makes you and other people happy. An upbeat mental attitude is the key to a life full of love and laughter.

As one of the zodiac’s fire signs you enjoy taking risks but this is one of those occasions when the odds are stacked against you and you cannot win. You don’t have to be top dog every day of the week, so keep a low profile today.
Stand back from what you are working on so you can get a wider view of what it means both to yourself and to other people. If you don’t want to fall out with those you love it might be smart to work on something less controversial!
LIBRA (Sept. 24 - Oct. 23):
If you are finding it hard to get along with the people you work and do business with maybe you should end the alliance and join a more agreeable team. If you do that you may have to lower your expectations a little but your spirit will soar.
Mind planet Mercury is at odds with Saturn today, so it may be the case that what other people tell you is a long way short of reality. Nothing bad will come of it so long as you don’t make important decisions based on what they say.
You may be supremely confident in your own abilities but do those you work with and for possess the same motivation and skill set? If you are going to be serious about your ambitions you may have to work alone for a while.
If the path you have been taking is blocked today maybe you should take the hint and find another route to your goal. Most likely the cosmos is trying to tell you that sometimes a more circuitous approach will get you there faster.
Friends and family members have clearly been less than honest with you of late but don’t automatically assume it’s because they have something to hide. It could be they are trying to protect you from yourself by keeping you away from temptation.
You won’t find it easy to get your point of view across today and even if you find the right words some people will ridicule your beliefs. All the more reason to keep them to yourself. What’s that old saying about casting pearls before swine?
