Nerve Block Therapy Offers Hope for Migraine Sufferers

Calgary neurologist Dr. Serena Orr injecting a patient to help treat migraines.  Researchers in Calgary are spotlighting a promising treatment for people living with severe migraines: occipital nerve blocks . Aid Bottleneck: Gaza’s North Still Starving Despite Daily Food Deliveries

Trucks carry aid for Palestinians, amid a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, in Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip

Despite an average of 560 tonnes of food entering Gaza each day since the ceasefire began, aid convoys are struggling to reach the famine-stricken north. According to the United Nations, damaged infrastructure and the closure of key routes have left thousands in Gaza City and surrounding areas without access to desperately needed supplies.

Humanitarian officials warn that while the flow of aid into southern Gaza has improved, the crisis in the north remains acute. Malnutrition, homelessness, and the collapse of basic services have pushed conditions beyond famine thresholds, particularly for children.

UN humanitarian chief Tom Fletcher stressed that “thousands of aid vehicles would have to enter weekly” to stabilize the situation. For now, the ceasefire has opened only a narrow window of opportunity, and aid groups continue to call for safe, sustained access to the hardest-hit regions.
