RCMP Rule Out Vehicle Link in Disappearance of Nova Scotia Siblings

Lilly Sullivan, 6, and her brother Jack, 4, were reported missing on Friday May 2, 2025.

The RCMP have announced that their investigation into the disappearance of Lilly and Jack Sullivan, ages six and four, has found no evidence that a vehicle played a role in the case.

Witnesses had previously reported hearing a car near the children’s rural Lansdowne home on the night before they were reported missing. However, after reviewing surveillance footage and other leads, investigators concluded that the presence of a vehicle could not be substantiated and is not considered a key element in the ongoing investigation.

The siblings were last seen on May 2, 2025, when their mother reported them missing after they failed to appear at school for two consecutive days. Despite extensive searches, including the use of cadaver dogs and aerial support, no trace of the children has been found.

RCMP officials emphasized that the case remains active and that all credible leads will continue to be pursued. They urged the public to remain vigilant and to report any information that could help bring clarity to the children’s disappearance.
