Tragedy at Sea: Migrant Boat Sinks Off Lesbos, Leaving Four Dead

 

At least four migrants lost their lives after a boat sank off the Greek island of Lesbos, according to the country’s coastguard. Seven survivors were pulled from the water, while search-and-rescue operations continued amid uncertainty over how many people were originally on board.

The incident marks the second fatal shipwreck involving migrants near Lesbos this month, highlighting the ongoing dangers faced by those attempting the perilous crossing from Turkey to Greece.
