Hollywood has been shaken by a devastating tragedy. Nick Reiner, the 32-year-old son of acclaimed filmmaker Rob Reiner and photographer Michele Singer Reiner, has been arrested and booked on suspicion of murdering his parents at their Brentwood, California home.

Authorities confirmed that police responded to the residence on December 14, where both Rob and Michele were found dead from apparent stab wounds. Nick was taken into custody later that evening and initially held on $4 million bail, though records now show he is being detained without bail at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility.
