Cease-Fire Prospects Rise as Israel Accepts Bridging Proposal

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken recently announced that Israel has accepted a proposal to bridge differences holding up a cease-fire and hostage release in Gaza. The proposal aims to conclude a cease-fire deal in the Gaza Strip and secure the return of Israeli hostages. However, it remains to be seen if Hamas will accept the proposal as well.
