Trump Condemns Putin’s Actions, Signals Possible Sanctions

In a rare and pointed rebuke, U.S. President Donald Trump has criticized Russian President Vladimir Putin, calling him “absolutely CRAZY” following Russia’s largest aerial assault on Ukraine since the war began. The attack, which involved hundreds of drones and missiles, resulted in multiple casualties and widespread destruction.

Speaking to reporters in New Jersey, Trump expressed his frustration, stating, “I don’t know what the hell happened to him. He’s killing a lot of people. I’m not happy about that”. He also hinted at the possibility of imposing additional sanctions on Russia in response to the escalating violence.

Despite his strong words for Putin, Trump also criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, suggesting that his rhetoric was causing unnecessary problems. The Kremlin, meanwhile, has downplayed Trump’s remarks, attributing them to heightened emotions surrounding the conflict.

As tensions continue to rise, the international community watches closely to see whether Trump will follow through on his threats of increased sanctions or push harder for peace negotiations.
