The Vatican has announced that the funeral of Pope Francis will take place on Saturday, April 26, at 10 a.m. local time in St. Pe ter’s Square, Vatican City. The late pontiff, who passed away on April 21 at the age of 88, will be honored with a solemn ceremony attended by world leaders, religious figures, and mourners from across the globe.

Pope Francis, known for his progressive approach and dedication to social justice, leaves behind a legacy of compassion and reform.
