Crisis in Gaza: Israeli Strikes Kill 30 as Global Focus Shifts to Iran

Israeli gunfire and airstrikes have killed at least 30 people across the Gaza Strip, according to local health authorities. The latest attacks targeted homes in the Maghazi refugee camp and Zeitoun neighborhood, as well as a tent encampment in Khan Younis.

Among the casualties were displaced Palestinians waiting for aid trucks along Salahuddin Road, where Israeli fire reportedly killed 11 people. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated that they were investigating the deaths and claimed their operations aimed to dismantle Hamas military capabilities while taking precautions to mitigate civilian harm.

The humanitarian crisis in Gaza has worsened, with nearly 55,000 Palestinians killed since the conflict began in October 2023. Many residents fear their suffering is being overshadowed by the escalating air war between Israel and Iran.

As the world’s attention shifts, Palestinians continue to struggle with severe food shortages and displacement, raising concerns about the long-term impact of the ongoing violence.
